Softball: Lakeview Wins Central City Invite, CHS Goes 1-1

Lakeview’s softball club went 3-0 to win Saturday’s Central City Invite.
The Vikings won 10-1 over Minden, 10-0 over Aquinas and 6-1 over O’Neill in the championship game. The Lady Vikes are now 15-6 and will host Crete today at 5 p.m.
Meantime, Columbus High was 1-1 at the Lincoln Southeast Invite. The Discoverers beat Bellevue East 5-3, but were blanked by Kearney 8-0.
CHS is 14-13 and will host Norfolk in a twinbill tomorrow night.
