Softball: CHS Goes 1-1, Lakeview Wins Tournament

In prep softball on Saturday, the Discoverers went 1-1 in their own invite at Bradshaw Park. CHS posted a 10-3 win over Elkhorn, but fell to Norfolk 3-0. Columbus is 12-10.
The Discoverers will host Fremont in a doubleheader today. It’s Senior Night and first pitch of the opener is at 5 p.m.
That’s also the game time for Lakeview’s home contest today against Seward. The Vikings went 3-0 to win a tournament in Arlington on Saturday. Lakeview had wins of 10-7 over Raymond Central, 6-4 over DC West/Concordia and 9-1 over Tekamah-Herman. Lakeview has won six straight games and is 12-4.
