Softball: CHS Goes 0-3, Lakeview Wins Two of Three

In prep softball on Saturday, Columbus went 0-3 in a tournament hosted by Lincoln Southeast. 

The Discoverers were outslugged by Skutt 12-11, were edged by Lincoln East 4-3 and were shut out by Scottsbluff 5-0.  CHS is now 7-23 and will play a twin bill at Norfolk Tuesday. 

Lakeview went 2-1 in the Central City Invite.  The Vikings blanked Southern/Diller-Odell 8-0 in five innings, posted a 3-2 walk-off win over NEN with a run in the bottom of the eighth, and were blanked by Aquinas 7-0 in six frames. 

Lakeview takes its 7-15 record into a game at Crete tonight.
