Soccer: Scotus Teams, Schuyler Boys Advance to State

In Saturday’s Class B soccer district finals, the Scotus girls topped Conestoga 4-0 at Wilderness Park.
The Shamrocks are 14-2 and seeded third in the state tourney. They’ll meet Omaha Mercy in the girls quarterfinals Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
The Scotus boys are the number-6 seed after claiming the district title with a 2-0 win over Hastings. The Shamrocks play Lexington Wednesday night at 7:30.
And the Schuyler boys are district champions after a 3-1 home victory over Scottsbluff. The fourth-seeded Warriors battle South Sioux City Wednesday at 2 p.m.
