Soccer: CHS Boys, Both Scotus Clubs Remain Unbeaten

The Columbus High boys soccer team stayed undefeated with a 3-1 win at Lincoln Pius X on Thursday. The Discoverers improved to 5-0 on the season.
Meanwhile, the Scotus boys soccer club is 6-0 following a 6-1 home victory over Lutheran High/Norfolk Catholic. Facing the same opponent, the Shamrocks girls moved to 7-0 with a 4-0 win at Wilderness Park.
Lakeview’s girls posted their first win, beating York 1-0 at home to improve to 1-5. The Vikings boys fell to the Dukes 7-0, slipping to 0-6.
In other soccer action, Schuyler swept Seward with the Warriors boys winning 10-1 and the girls recording a 6-0 shutout. And Madison’s boys got by Lincoln Lutheran/Raymond Central 2-1.
