Six standout players and a long-time assistant coach have been selected as the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame’s 2020 class.

Four members of NU’s 1970 national championship team were chosen.  They are quarterback Van Brownson, fullback Dan Schneis, offensive tackle Wally Winter and assistant coach Carl Selmer.

Two other former Huskers will be inducted next fall.  Ray Phillips was an all-conference defensive end in 1976 and I-back Doug DuBose was a two-time All-Big Eight pick in 1984 and ‘85.

The other member of the 2020 class is former UNO offensive lineman Chris Bober, a Division II All-American for the Mavericks in the late 1990s.
