Six People Injured In Madison County Accident

BATTLE CREEK- Six people were injured in an accident near Battle Creek Monday.

At 5:05 p.m., the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and Battle Creek Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of 839th Rd and 551st Ave for an injury accident. Two vehicles were Eastbound on 839th Rd when a pickup slowed to turn South on 551st and a car struck the back end of the pickup. The collision caused the car to enter into oncoming traffic where it was struck by a westbound vehicle. The pickup had two occupants, the car had three occupants, and the westbound vehicle had one occupant.

All were transported to a local hospital for their injuries.
