Former Husker Shavon Shields helped Baskonia to its first Spanish League title in a decade with a 69-67 win over Barcelona last night. 

Shields scored nine points and grabbed four rebounds in the final as Baskonia avenged an 81-75 loss to Barcelona during the first stage of the tournament. 

Shields, who played for Nebraska from 2013 to 2016, concluded his second season with Baskonia.  He averaged 11.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
