Shelley, Markowski Both Post Double-Doubles on Sunday

Jaz Shelley and Alexis Markowski both posted double-doubles as the Nebraska women’s basketball team beat Northwestern 80-64 yesterday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Shelley had 19 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, while Markowski had 16 points and 14 boards. The Huskers improved to 16-13 overall, 8-10 in the Big Ten.
NU will be back in action in the Big Ten tournament on Thursday, when the Huskers face Michigan State.
