Shamrocks, Vikings Meet in Columbus Holiday Tourney Finals

Scotus will play at rival Lakeview in the girls and boys championship games in Monday’s Columbus Holiday basketball tournament.

In Saturday’s girls semifinals, the Shamrocks got by Clarkson/Leigh 45-40, while the Vikings beat Schuyler 53-46.  In the boys semifinals on Saturday, Scotus thumped the Patriots 67-33, while Lakeview romped over the Warriors 77-30.

Monday’s finals at Lakeview High will be aired on KLIR 101.  The girls title game tips off at 5 p.m., with the boys championship to follow.

Both teams from Clarkson/Leigh and Schuyler will meet in consolation contests, starting with the girls game at 1 p.m.
