Shamrocks Top Team, Vikings’ Schneider Wins Scotus Invite

The Shamrocks boys golfers won a team title at yesterday’s Scotus Invite, while a Lakeview golfer earned an individual title.
Scotus carded a team score of 335 at Elks Country Club to finish first out of six teams in the Nicklaus division. Nolan Fleming led the Shamrocks with an 80 to finish third individually. Aquinas was fourth as a team at 358.
Lakeview’s Kurt Schneider fired a 79 to earn first place in the Watson division. The Vikings team score of 392 was good for fourth in the team standings, one spot ahead of Shelby-Rising City and just two strokes behind Schuyler and Boone Central, which tied for second.
