Shamrocks Boys, Vikings Girls Win Lakeview Track Invite

In track-and-field, the Scotus boys and Lakeview girls were team champions at yesterday’s Lakeview Invite.
In the boys meet, the Shamrocks had 106 points, 17 more than the runner-up Vikings. Owen Lindhorst of Scotus won the boys 200 and 400 meter dashes. Lakeview’s Braxton Borer won the 300 meter hurdles and the long jump.
In girls action, the Vikings were first while the Shamrocks placed fifth out of nine teams. Blake Barcel won the 100 and 200 meter dashes, while her Lakeview teammate Molly Frenzen earned gold medals in the 100 meter hurdles and triple jump.
