Shamrocks Avery Heinrich Wins Scotus XC Invite

The Scotus Cross Country Invite was Thursday and the Shamrocks Avery Heinrich won the girls event at the Lutjelusche Course.
The Scotus girls topped the nine-team field, while Lakeview was fifth.
In the boys 5K run, Lakeview’s Eli Escen earned third place for the best finish by a local runner. In the boys team standings, the Vikings were third and the Shamrocks took ninth out of 11 clubs.
