Shamrocks Arndt Shoots an 86 Tuesday at Pinehurst

Scotus golfer Cecilia Arndt carded a 16-over par 86 in today’s second round of the NHSGA National Invitational at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.
That gave Arndt a two-day total of 28-over, 170. She dropped 15 spots in the standings from Monday, and is now tied for 127th place in the field of 220 female prep golfers.
Two golfers share the lead heading into Wednesday’s final round, as Jenna Kim of North Carolina and Victoria Patterson of Texas both are at even par after two rounds.
Arndt was invited to the tournament after she won the Class C girls golf state championship as a sophomore last fall.
