Several Local Prep Teams Open Their Seasons Tomorrow

The winter sports season opens tomorrow for several local teams.
At Columbus High, the Discoverers basketball clubs will host Bellevue West. You can hear the girls and boys varsity games on KLIR 101. The girls contest tips off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the boys’ action. The Columbus swimming and diving teams open their season tomorrow with a dual at Fremont.
Lakeview’s basketball teams host Crete tomorrow. The Vikings girls game is set for 6:00 p.m., followed by the boys’ contest. Also Thursday, Lakeview’s bowling clubs take on Waverly in Lincoln.
And the Scotus basketball squads welcome Hastings St. Cecilia to the Dowd Activity Center tomorrow. The girls tipoff is at 5:30 p.m., with the boys game to follow.
