Seven Huskers To Represent Four Countries in Tokyo

The University of Nebraska will have seven current or former Huskers representing four countries at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Four athletes will represent the United States: Jordan Larson, Kelsey Robinson and Justine Wong-Orantes are on the women’s volleyball team, while Amber Neben is a member of the women’s road cycling team.  Sarah Pavan will compete in beach volleyball for Canada.  Incoming freshman Beatriz Padron will swim for Costa Rica.  And Keisei Tominaga, an incoming sophomore guard for the Nebraska men’s basketball team, will represent Japan in 3-on-3 basketball.

The Tokyo Olympics, which start this week, mark the 10th consecutive summer games with at least seven Husker Olympians.
