Senior Safeties Williams, Dismuke Will Return in 2021

Senior safeties Deontai Williams and Marquel Dismuke will return to Nebraska next season.  Both announced on social media yesterday that they’ll take advantage of the NCAA allowing players an extra season of eligibility due to COVID-19. 

Last season, Williams was third on NU’s defense with 51 tackles.  He had four tackles for losses and a sack where he caused a fumble and returned it for a touchdown against Penn State. 

In that same game, Dismuke had a career-high 15 tackles.  On the year, he made 47 tackles, including four tackles for losses and tied for the team lead with four pass breakups.
