Scotus Hosts Lakeview in Holiday Tourney Twinbill on KLIR 101
All four basketball clubs from Scotus and Lakeview were victorious in the opening day of the Columbus Chamber Holiday Tournament yesterday.
In the boys tourney at Scotus, the Shamrocks cruised to a 66-15 win over Twin River. Seth Vun Cannon led Scotus with 12 points, while Jackson Heng added 10. Lakeview’s boys beat Schuyler 55-31. Braxton Borer, Kolby Blaser and Eli Osten each scored nine points in a balanced Vikings attack.
On the girls side, Emma Brezenski tallied a game-high 17 points to lead Scotus to a 57-18 win over the Titans. Lakeview downed Schuyler 46-2, as Haley Frenzen and Katee Korte had 10 points apiece for the Lady Vikes. You can hear the championship games today on KLIR 101. The girls tipoff is set for 4:30 p.m., with the boys to follow around 6:15.
