Scotus Volleyball Wins Shamrock Invite, Lakeview Takes Third

Scotus’ volleyball team won the Shamrock Invite on Saturday, while Lakeview took third place. 

In the opening round, the Shamrocks rallied to get by Norfolk Catholic, winning 26-28, 25-19, 25-21.  The Vikings earned a 25-23, 25-19 win over Bishop Neumann. 

In the semifinals, Scotus earned a hard-fought victory over Pierce, winning 24-26, 25-23, 30-28.  Lakeview was downed by David City, as the Scouts won 25-22, 25-14. 

In the championship match, the Shamrocks beat David City 25-23, 25-22.  The Vikings topped Pierce for third place, 25-23, 25-17.  Scotus moved to 5-0, while Lakeview is 3-2 on the season.
