Scotus Volleyball in State Tourney After Reverse Sweep of Ogallala

The Scotus volleyball team is headed to this week’s state tournament in Lincoln. 

The Shamrocks were able to rally from a 2-0 deficit to reverse sweep Ogallala in a Class C district final on Saturday.  Mallory Dreesen had 16 kills and had team highs with 26 digs and two ace serves for Scotus.  Adrianna Kush paced the Shamrocks with 17 kills.

Scotus is 28-6 and earned the No. 3 seed in the C1 state tourney.  In Wednesday’s quarterfinals, the ‘Rocks meet No. 6 seed Wahoo at 3 p.m. on KLIR 101.
