Scotus Volleyball Faces Wahoo in First State Tourney Match in Six Years
The Scotus Central Catholic volleyball team will play its first state tournament match since 2018 today.
The Shamrocks, seeded No. 3 in the C1 tournament, meet No. 6 seed Wahoo in a 3 p.m. quarterfinal at Pinnacle Bank Arena. You can hear play-by-play of the match on KLIR 101.
Scotus has a 28-6 record and is making its 32nd trip to the state tournament. The Shamrocks have won 15 state volleyball titles, most recently in 2011.
Wahoo is 25-7 and is making its seventh appearance in the state tourney. The Warriors last trip to Lincoln came in 2020, when they won their third state championship.
