Scotus Soccer Teams’ District Finals Matchups Are Set

The Class B soccer district final matchups were set today.
On Saturday, the No. 11 seed Scotus boys will travel to Grand Island to face No. 6 seed Northwest at 11 a.m. The Shamrocks are 12-4, while the Vikings are 13-3. Scotus prevailed 1-0 at Northwest when the two clubs squared off in the regular season on April 11th.
Meanwhile, the Shamrocks girls are the No. 4 seed and will host 13th-seeded Scottsbluff on Saturday. Kickoff is set for Noon at Wilderness Park. The Scotus girls are 14-2 and have won 13 straight matches, the last seven of which were shutouts. Scottsbluff is 10-6 entering the first meeting between the two teams this season.
