Scotus Grad Heng Helps Green Team Win in CCC All-Star Game

Scotus Central Catholic graduate Jackson Heng led his all-star basketball team to a victory last night at CCC. 

Heng scored a game-high 16 points, while Boone Central grad Ben Reilly had 15 including five in overtime, as the Green Team topped the Silver 75-63.  Trent Patzel of Boone Central and Cross County’s James Elgin led the Silver with 12 points apiece in the 43rd annual CCC boys all-star game. 

In the girls contest at the Raider Fieldhouse, the Silver cruised to a 48-34 win.  Clarkson/Leigh’s Chole Hanel had a game-high 11 points for the Green, with Anisten Barnett of Columbus High adding nine.  The winning Silver squad had a balanced attack, led by nine points from Cassie Burbach of North Bend Central.
