Scotus Golfer Arndt Opens With 84 at National Invite

Scotus golfer Cecilia Arndt shot a 12-over 84 in yesterday’s opening round of a tournament at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.
Heading into the second of three rounds today, Arndt was tied for 112th place in the field of 220 golfers in the NHSGA National Invitational. She was 15 strokes behind the leader, Kiera Batholomew of North Carolina, who fired a 3-under 69.
Arndt was invited to the tournament after she won the Class C girls golf state championship as a sophomore last fall.
