Scotus Girls Win, Shamrocks Boys Fall in Tourney

In the Centennial Conference basketball tournament last night, the Scotus girls posted a victory.  But, on the boys’ side both the Shamrocks and Aquinas were defeated.

The Scotus girls beat Omaha Concordia 54-38, improving to 7-10.  The Shamrocks will visit top-seeded Hastings St. Cecilia in tonight’s quarterfinals. The Aquinas girls, who were idle last night, visit Lincoln Christian this evening. 

In boys’ action, Scotus fell at Boys Town 44-41, dropping the Shamrocks’ record to 4-11. The Monarchs were downed at St. Cecilia 43-30, evening Aquinas’ mark at 8-8.
