Scotus Girls Track Team Wins Battle Creek Invite

The Scotus girls claimed a team championship, while the Shamrocks boys were fourth out of eight clubs competing in yesterday’s Battle Creek Invitational.
The Scotus girls won 37 medals, including six golds. Olivia Fehringer won the 800 and 1600 meter runs. Grace Mustard had the top time in the 100 meter dash and the 100 meter hurdles. Anna Ehlers won the high jump and Chloe Walker recorded the longest discus throw.
The Shamrocks boys did not collect any gold medals, but Garrett Oakley earned four medals. He placed second in the triple jump and third in three other events – the long jump and the 100 and 200 meter dashes.
