Scotus Girls Stay Alive in Postseason, Lakeview Ousted

The Scotus girls basketball squad advanced in the postseason, while it ended for Lakeview last night. 

The Shamrocks defense carried them to a 28-17 win over David City in the C1-5 subdistrict semifinals.  Joanna Rusher scored 14 points, 11 coming in the second half to spark Scotus to a game-ending 12-2 run.  The Shamrocks are now 15-7, while the Scouts finished at 14-8. 

In the other semifinal at North Bend, the top-seeded Tigers beat Lakeview 45-31.  Kenzie Greisen tallied 10 points for the Vikings, who ended up at 9-14.  North Bend Central is 15-8.
