Scotus Girls Reach Semifinals, Boys in Consolation Game

The Scotus girls basketball club smothered Lincoln Lutheran 29-20 in last night’s quarterfinals of the Centennial Conference tournament. 

The road win hiked the Shamrocks’ record to 11-7 and put them into tonight’s semifinals. Scotus will return to Lincoln Lutheran to take on Bishop Neumann at 6 p.m. in a game you can hear on KLIR 101. 

The eighth-seeded Cavaliers upset top-seeded GICC 52-28 last night.  The previously undefeated Crusaders had let go of their head coach, Stacia Rice, earlier this week. 

The Scotus boys will host Neumann tonight at 6 p.m. in a tourney consolation game. 

Last night on KLIR, the Aquinas boys fell at Kearney Catholic 63-27. In a girls consolation contest at Aquinas, the Monarchs beat Concordia 33-27.
