Scotus Girls Golf, VunCannon Win Triangular in Battle Creek

The Scotus Central Catholic girls golf team opened its season Tuesday by winning a triangular at Battle Creek.
The Shamrocks shot a team score of 208, finishing nine strokes better than the host club. Norfolk Catholic was third at 242.
Scotus senior Quinn VunCannon posted the top individual score by carding a 44. Her Shamrocks teammate Libby Langan was second with a 48, while Ava Sokol’s 52 was good for fifth place.
Scotus will take on rival Lakeview and host Fullerton in another triangular next Tuesday.
