Scotus Girls Golf, Ardnt Win Team, Individual District Titles

The Scotus girls golf team and senior Cecilia Arndt are district champions.

Arndt fired a 74 yesterday at Quail Run topping the leaderboard at the C-2 district tournament.  She finished 15 strokes ahead of her Shamrocks teammate Quinn VunCannon, who placed second.

Scotus topped the team standings by carding a 363, 49 strokes better than Oakland-Craig.  Joining those two teams in qualifying for state was Fullerton, with a team score of 421.  Boone Central just missed making next week’s state tourney after finishing fourth, but the Cardinals Taylor Beierman qualified as an individual by taking third with a 94.

The Class C state tournament is next Monday and Tuesday at Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte.
