Scotus Football Thursday on KLIR 101, CHS and Lakeview Play Friday

The Scotus Central Catholic football team will kick off this week’s area prep action with a home game Thursday against West Point-Beemer.
Both teams are 2-1 on the season, with the Shamrocks coming off a last-second 22-20 win at St. Paul. The wild game ended with a 27-yard field goal by Frank Fehringer. Thursday’s game has a 7 p.m. kickoff on KLIR 101.
On Friday, Columbus High takes a 2-2 record into its 6 p.m. homecoming game against North Platte, which is 0-3. And Lakeview will host St. Paul in a matchup of two teams with 1-2 records.
