Scotus Football Beats Rival Aquinas for Happy Early Homecoming
Senior fullback Cohen Pelan’s two rushing touchdowns, the Shamrocks stout defense and great special teams play added up to a 14-7 Homecoming and Opening night win over Aquinas.
Archangels Catholic transfer Carson Wessel started at quarterback for Scotus and was efficient, completing 10-of-12 passes for 96 yards. He did not throw a touchdown or an interception, but Wessel had an interception while playing defense. Shamrocks senior Caleb Cameron recorded a team-leading 11 tackles.
