Scotus Boys Golf Team Wins Fourth Straight

The Scotus boys golf team posted its fourth consecutive win yesterday. The Shamrocks’ school-record fifth victory of the season came at the Wayne Mac Invite.
Scotus carded a team score of 324, 16 strokes better than runner-up Aquinas. The Shamrocks were led by Nicklaus Fleming who fired a 76 and tied for second place with Lakeview’s Max Fremarek. Nolan Fleming and Seth VunCannon of Scotus both shot a 79 and finished in a five-way tie for fourth.
Tylen Jakub’s 81 was the Monarchs’ top score, earning him a tie for ninth. In the team standings, Lakeview was eighth, Schuyler 10th and Boone Central 12th out of 15 clubs.
