Scotus Football #9 in Lincoln Journal Star’s Preseason Rankings

The Scotus Central Catholic football team is in the Lincoln Journal Star’s Class C-1 preseason rankings.  The Shamrocks are ranked number 9, while Lakeview did not make the Top 10, but is listed as a contender. 

Next Friday, Scotus will open its season at preseason number 1 and defending state champion Wahoo in a game you can hear on KZ-100.  The Vikings open their season next Friday at Boys Town. 

Also in C-1, North Bend Central is ranked number 8, while Boone Central is one of ten contenders.  Aquinas is number two in C-2, trailing only defending state champ Oakland-Craig in the preseason ratings. 

In D-1, Clarkson/Leigh is number 1, Cross County is second and Howells-Dodge is fifth.  In D-2, Osceola is number 3, one spot ahead of defending state champion Humphrey St. Francis.
