Schuyler Bows to Bennington in Boys State Soccer Semifinals

Schuyler fell to top-seeded Bennington 4-1 in the semifinals of the Class B boys state soccer tournament on Saturday night. 

The Warriors goal was scored by Jose Cruz – his team-leading 37th of the season – late in the first half.  The Badgers still led 2-1 at halftime and went on to the victory, improving to 19-0. 

Bennington will face Skutt in tomorrow’s championship match, while Schuyler finished 15-3.
