Saturday’s Prep Basketball Results for Local Teams

Griffin Micek scored a game-high 13 points and Tanner Esch added 10 points, as Columbus downed Omaha Buena Vista 64-19 on Saturday. 

The home win evened the Discoverers’ record at 2-2.  The Columbus girls are also 2-2, following a 56-11 romp over the Bison. 

In other games Saturday, the Lakeview boys dropped a 43-20 decision to Wayne at home.  The Vikings slipped to 0-4.  The Lady Vikes were edged by the Blue Devils 32-29, moving Lakeview to 3-1. 

The Scotus girls evened their record at 2-2 with a 50-42 win at Humphrey St. Francis.  It was the first loss of the year for the 4-1 Flyers.
