Saturday’s City Prep Basketball Results

In prep basketball, both Columbus High teams were victorious at Gering on Saturday. 

The Discoverers boys beat the Bulldogs 68-52 to even Columbus’ record at 2-2. The CHS girls won 54-48 to improve to 2-3. 

Both Discoverers clubs will host Grand Island Northwest tomorrow night.

Meantime, both Lakeview squads dropped games at Wayne on Saturday.  The Vikings boys were downed 71-48, slipping to 1-3. The Lady Vikes fell 53-29 to drop to 0-4.

Lakeview entertains Logan View-Scribner-Snyder in a girls/boys twinbill tomorrow night on KLIR 101.
