In prep basketball on Saturday, Columbus High was swept at home by Kearney. 

The Discoverers boys fell to the Bearcats 84-44.  Ean Luebbe led CHS with 16 points.  Columbus slipped to 1-5.  The Discoverers girls lost 42-25, dropping to 2-4. 

Lakeview split its home games against David City.  The Vikings boys won 49-27 to improve to 1-5, while the Scouts slipped to 0-5.  Eli Osten posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.  The Lady Vikes fell to the Scouts 43-35, evening the Vikings record at 3-3 while David City moved to 6-0. 

Scotus split at home against West Point-Beemer.  The Shamrocks boys were edged 47-43 in overtime, falling to 1-5.  The Scotus girls won 42-40 to improve to 4-3.  Both Scotus squads visit Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family tomorrow for games that will be broadcast on 93.5 The Hawk, starting at 4 p.m.
