Satterfield: Friday Night’s Alright For Fighting the Fighting Illini
When it comes to Nebraska football this week, Friday night’s alright for fighting.
At least that’s the way Huskers offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield sees his unit’s matchup against the Illinois defense.
“We’ve got to be ready for a fist fight on Friday night,” Satterfield said. “In terms of running the football and trying to move the line of scrimmage, they’re always going to have an extra hat in the box. They play a lot of man coverage, one of the things that shows up is a little bit more zone this year than they’ve played in the past. Something we’ve got to be ready for. The scheme is excellent, the players are playing really well, they’re taking the ball away.”
Friday’s kickoff is at 7 p.m. with the pregame starting at 3 on News Talk 900 KJSK. It will be joined at 6:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
