Ruud: Hausmann Has Opportunity to Play “Real Minutes” in Fall

Former Columbus High football standout Ernest Hausmann has impressed Nebraska inside linebackers coach Barrett Ruud.
Speaking last night on Sports Nightly, Ruud said Hausmann was helped by the fact he enrolled at NU in January and practiced with the Huskers last spring, “He’s been what we expected, what we anticipated,” Ruud said. “I think the fact he got here early and got that spring ball in is going to be huge for him…possibly having an opportunity to play and contribute real minutes in the fall.”
Hausmann earned first-team Super State honors as a Discoverers senior last fall.
