Ruge Wins Nebraska Women’s Match Play Final

Omaha golfer Katie Ruge became the second youngest Nebraska Women’s Match Play champion yesterday.
The 16-year old junior-to-be at Millard North defeated Snyder’s Hannah Hunke 4-and-3 in yesterday’s Final of the 97th annual event at Kearney Country Club.
Lincoln’s Kate Strickland was the youngest champion. She was 15 years old when she won the title last year.
