Robinson Says Huskers “Have Something to Prove”
Nebraska is preparing to play on Black Friday for the 31st consecutive year. The Huskers will face Iowa for the tenth straight season.
The Huskers are 1-2 this season, while the Hawkeyes will bring a 3-2 record into Friday’s game in Iowa City.
Following Nebraska’s practice yesterday, Wan’Dale Robinson was asked how do the Huskers forget about last Saturday’s upset loss to Illinois and get ready to face a good Iowa team.
“We know that’s not how we should have played last week so we just came in knowing we have something to prove coming into this week,” Robinson said.
Friday’s kickoff is set for noon. The pre-game starts at 7 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 11:30 a.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
