Roberts Wins Two Girls Swimming Events for Columbus

Columbus High’s swimming and diving team traveled to Lincoln Thursday to face host Northwest and Northeast.
The Discoverers boys were downed by both Lincoln clubs 52-34, while the CHS girls fell to the host Hawks 47-31 and lost to the Rockets 54-32.
Columbus first place finishes were recorded by Greta Roberts in the girls 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard backstroke, Nathaniel Navarrete in boys 1 meter diving, and Genaro Olivera-Alarcon in the boys 100 yard freestyle.
