Rhule's Expectations for Huskers Offense vs. UTEP

The wait is almost over for the start of year 2 of the Matt Rhule era for Nebraska football.

The Huskers head coach was asked yesterday about his expectations for NU’s offense during the debut of star freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola.

“I want the team to look the way it’s supposed to look,” Rhule said. “I want to play hard, play physical, I want to have clean football. I want to protect the football, I want to be aggressive, I want to block their pressures, their excellent defense, excellent pressure unit. Recognize their fronts. Dylan (Raiola) will have a challenge, and the other quarterbacks will have a challenge in recognizing their coverage structures.”

Tomorrow’s kickoff at Memorial Stadium is set for 2:30 p.m. The pregame starts at 10:30 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK. It will be joined at 2 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
