Rhule Says Huskers Show Confidence, Focus is on Turnovers

Nebraska football coach Matt Rhule said yesterday at Big Ten Media Days in Indianapolis that his players are showing their confidence. 

Rhule feels that’s a good sign the Huskers are beginning to turn things around.  He said turnovers have been a focus at practice, both having the offense hang onto the football and generating them on defense.

Rhule said NU has to win the turnover battle to turn some of Nebraska’s spate of close losses over the past few seasons into wins.  He mentioned his goal is to go from last season’s turnover ratio of minus-17 to plus-7.
