Rhule Praises O-Line, Adds It Will Challenged by Spartans

Nebraska football coach Matt Rhule said yesterday that the Huskers offensive line played well in the win over Purdue.

He said two of the Boilermakers three sacks were “on the quarterback” and the other came on a delayed blitz.  But, Rhule also knows the offensive line will face a big challenge this Saturday at Michigan State.

“They’re really, really, really physical up front, in the upper half of the Big Ten in rush defense,” Rhule said.  “It’s a challenging matchup for us in the way that we play, so it should be a heck of a game.”

Rhule also said starting defensive back Omar Brown is in concussion protocol.

Saturday’s kickoff is set for 11 a.m.  The pregame begins at 7 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and at 10:30 a.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
