Rhule Looking for Precision and Detail in Spring Practice

Nebraska football coach Matt Rhule says the Huskers have built strength and mobility in the offseason.

He says the team has made a lot of steps in building a sense of brotherhood among players.  Asked about his priority for the spring, Rhule said: “In our program, practice is everything.”

“What I’m finding with this team is they are highly, highly , highly competitive but sometimes the small details, as do with most 18 to 22-year-olds, they get away from us a little bit.  So can we take our sense of competitiveness and toughness – this is a tough group – take that competitiveness and toughness and carry it over onto the football field and also add in precision and detail?”

The Huskers begin spring practice in less than two weeks.  It will conclude with the spring game set for Saturday, April 22nd at 1 p.m.
