Reports: Pats Fear Burkhead Has Torn ACL

The New England Patriots may have lost former Nebraska running back Rex Burkhead to a knee injury.
Media reports say Burkhead may have suffered a torn ACL against the Texans Sunday in Houston. The Athletic’s Jeff Howe first reported the Patriots feared Burkhead tore his ACL when he was tackled on a running play in the third quarter.
Burkhead, who played at NU from 2009 to 2013, had to be carted off the field.
