Reports: NU Lefty Bunz Out For Season With Injury

Nebraska reliever Jake Bunz will reportedly miss the rest of the baseball season with an injury.
According to multiple media reports, Huskers coach Will Bolt confirmed yesterday that the senior southpaw will not pitch again this season. Bunz left Saturday’s game against Sam Houston holding his left elbow.
Bunz was a key part of NU’s pitching staff last season. In 17 relief appearances and three starts he had a 2.20 ERA with 42 strikeouts in 32 ⅔ innings.
