Reports: Husker Football Freshman To Miss Season

One of the Nebraska football team’s incoming freshman playmakers will reportedly miss the upcoming season due to a knee injury. 

Media reports say receiver/running back Will Nixon posted the bad news on social media.  His Instagram post was titled “ACL recovery” and indicated he’s facing five months of rehab. 

Nixon is a prospect out of Waco, Texas who compiled over 2,000 yards of total offense and 29 touchdowns in his senior season last fall.
